Subject of data protection:
The subject of data protection is personal data. According to Art. 4 (1) DSGVO, these are individual details about the personal or factual circumstances of a specific or identifiable natural person. This includes, for example, information such as name, postal address, e-mail address or telephone number, but also usage data such as your IP address, if applicable.

Further definitions for improved understanding:
It is important to us that you easily understand our privacy policy, which is why we would like to briefly explain important terms here:

Data subject:
This is you as the owner of your own data. You are allowed to have a say in how your data is processed as part of your data subject rights and you are also allowed to revoke the processing.

Data controller:
This is us, as we are responsible for the proper processing of your data.

Processing:
This is the process or also a series of processes in connection with personal data from the collection of the data through the use to the deletion or destruction. We can perform this ourselves or service providers directly commissioned by us are involved.

Pseudonymization:
In pseudonymization, data is processed in such a way that it can no longer be assigned to a specific data subject without the addition of additional information. In principle, however, pseudonymization can always be cancelled if the relevant data is brought together.

Anonymization:
The personal data is deleted or alienated in such a way that, under normal circumstances, it is no longer possible to identify the individual person with it. When we make evaluations or statistics, we try to work with anonymized data wherever possible.

Scope of data collection and storage:

Calling up our website:
Data subjects can generally use our website without having to provide any information about their personal data. However, the processing of personal data may become necessary if the data subject wishes to receive certain services, such as our newsletter or further product information.

When visiting our website, we collect the following data, which are technically necessary for us. We need the data to display our website to you and thus ensure stability and security:

IP address of the requesting computer,
date and time of the request
Name and URL of the requested file,
website from which the request came (referrer URL),
browser used and, if applicable, the operating system of your computer as well as the name of your access provider.

The aforementioned data is processed by us for the following purposes:

Ensuring a comfortable use of our website,
Ensuring a smooth connection setup of the website,
evaluation of system security and stability as well as
for other administrative purposes in the context of contract fulfillment or to meet legal or regulatory requirements on us.

The processing is based on Art. 6 I lit. a DSGVO if you have given us your consent to the processing of the personal data concerning you for one or more specific purposes.

The processing is based on Art. 6 I lit. b DSGVO if the processing becomes necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party. This also applies to pre-contractual measures that take place at the request of the data subject.

The processing is based on Art. 6 I lit. c DSGVO if the processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which we are subject.

The processing is based on Art. 6 I lit. d DSGVO if the processing is necessary to protect the vital interests of the data subject or another natural person. This may be a rare case when a data subject is seriously injured and therefore his or her personal data is disclosed to a doctor, for example.

The processing is based on Art. 6 I lit. f DSGVO if the processing is necessary to protect the legitimate interests of the controller or a third party, unless the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject, which require the protection of personal data, override these interests.

Collection and storage of usage data:
To optimize our website, we collect and store data for 30 days, such as the date and time of the page view, the page from which you accessed our site and the like, unless you object to this data collection and storage.

This is done anonymously, without personally identifying the user of the site. If applicable, user profiles are created by means of a pseudonym. Here, too, there is no connection between the natural person behind the pseudonym and the usage data collected. We also use cookies to collect and store usage data.

Data processing for the purpose of contacting us is based on your voluntarily given consent according to Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a DSGVO.

Providing services and sending goods:
In order for us to provide our services, we may need your personal data. This applies to the sending of information material or ordered goods as well as to the answering of individual inquiries. We collect these data for the reason to meet your request. This data is only used for the intended purpose.

If you commission us to provide a service or send you goods, we collect and store your personal data in principle only to the extent necessary for the provision of the service or the performance of the contract and for legal reasons. For this purpose, it may be necessary to pass on your personal data to companies that we use to provide the service or to process the contract. These are, for example, transport companies or other service providers. These service providers are obligated by us to comply with data protection requirements within the framework of the legal conditions.

After the contract has been fully processed, your data will be blocked and deleted after expiry of the tax and commercial regulations, unless you have expressly consented to any further use of your data.

Google Adwords Conversion Tracking:
We use Google Conversion Tracking to statistically record the use of our website and to evaluate it for the purpose of optimizing it for you. Google sets a cookie on your computer for this purpose if you have accessed our website via a Google ad.

After 30 days, these cookies lose their validity. They are not used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages of the Adwords customer's website and the cookie is still valid, Google and the customer can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page.

A different cookie is set for each customer and therefore cannot be tracked across Adwords customers' websites. The information collected is used to create conversion statistics for Adwords customers who have opted in to conversion tracking. The following information is revealed:

Total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page tagged with a conversion tracking tag.
However, no information is disclosed that can be used to personally identify users.

If you do not wish to participate in the tracking process, you can also refuse the setting of a cookie required for this - for example, via a browser setting that generally disables the automatic setting of cookies. You can also disable cookies for conversion tracking by setting your browser to block cookies from the "www.googleadservices.com" domain.

Google's privacy policy on conversion tracking can be found here ( https://services.google.com/sitestats/de.html ).

Social media plug-ins:
We use social plug-ins of the following social networks on our website on the basis of Art. 6 (1) p. 1 lit. f DSGVO in order to make our company better known through them. The underlying promotional purpose is to be regarded as a legitimate interest within the meaning of the DSGVO. The responsibility for data protection-compliant operation is to be ensured by their respective providers. The integration of these plug-ins by us takes place by way of the so-called two-click method in order to protect visitors to our website as best as possible.

Facebook:
We have integrated components from Facebook on our website.

The operating company of Facebook is Facebook, Inc, 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA. The controller of personal data, if a data subject lives outside the USA or Canada, is Facebook Ireland Ltd, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland.

If you call up an individual page of our website on which a so-called Facebook plug-in (component) is located, your Internet browser is prompted by the component to download a corresponding representation of the component. Thus, Facebook knows which specific sub-pages you have visited.

Here you will find an overview of all Facebook plug-ins: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/?locale=de_DE

If you are logged in to Facebook at the same time, Facebook can track which of our sub-pages you have visited, as this information is collected by the component and assigned to your account. For example, if you click on an integrated Facebook button (e.g. "like"), this information will be assigned to your user account and your personal data will be stored.

If you do not want information to be transmitted to Facebook, log out of Facebook before accessing our website. Facebook also offers applications that prevent data from being transmitted to Facebook.

Instagram:
We have integrated components of Instagram on our website.

The operating company of Instagram is Instagram LLC, 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA ("Instagram").

When you call up an individual page of our website on which a so-called Instagram plug-in (component) is located, your internet browser is prompted by the component to download a corresponding representation of the component. Thus, Instagram knows which specific subpages you have visited.

Even if you are not logged in to Instagram or do not have an account, Instagram can track which of our subpages you have visited, as this information is collected by the component.

This information (including your IP address) is transmitted from your browser directly to an Instagram server in the USA and stored there. If you are logged into Instagram, the service can directly assign your visit to our website to your Instagram account. If you also interact with the plugins, for example by clicking the "Instagram" button, this information is also transmitted directly to an Instagram server and stored there.

The information is also published on your Instagram account and displayed there to your contacts.

If you do not want Instagram to directly assign the data collected via our website to your Instagram account, you must log out of Instagram before visiting our website.

The company operating the Google Remarketing services is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Pkwy, Mountain View, CA 94043-1351, USA.

Google Remarketing sets a cookie for you. When you visit our website, your browser identifies itself to Google. Therefore, Google obtains knowledge of your personal data, such as your IP address. In this respect, personal data is transferred to Google in the USA and stored by Google there. It is possible that Google passes the data on to third parties.

Your data will then be routinely blocked or deleted if the purpose of storage no longer applies or the legal retention period has expired.

The protection of our own legitimate interests may justify the temporary storage of the IP addresses of website visitors, for example, if this is necessary to ensure the security of the website against attacks.

Existence of automated decision-making
We do not use automated decision-making.

Use of data for a specific purpose:
We adhere to the principle of purpose-related data use and collect, process and store your personal data only for the purposes for which you have provided it to us. Your personal data will not be passed on to third parties without your express consent, unless this is necessary for the provision of the service or the execution of the contract. Your data will also only be passed on to state institutions and authorities entitled to receive information within the scope of the statutory duty to provide information or if we are obliged to provide information by a court decision.

We also take internal company data protection very seriously. Our employees and the service companies commissioned by us have been obligated by us to maintain confidentiality and to comply with the provisions of data protection law.
